Rieber GmbH & Co. KG has digitized its showroom at the company headquarters in Reutlingen, Swabia, into a virtual 360° tour, featuring numerous product and user information, as well as images, links, and videos. This allows customers from all over the world to explore the Rieber portfolio interactively, anytime and anywhere.

The new 3D tour of the showroom offers a user-friendly experience, enabled by innovative online technologies. Visitors can navigate through the virtual space and zoom in on products with a mouse click. Additional detailed information is linked in a separate, clear window, and application or product videos provide further insight into practical use. This novel presentation form allows Rieber to supply its customers with the desired information at any time, over any distance, and in a clear and forward-looking yet realistic manner. Videoconferencing tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom offer the additional possibility of joint virtual tours accompanied by Rieber sales staff.

"With our 360° online showroom, we offer a solution to present our entire portfolio or individual products to customers from all over the country and abroad. Essential advantages are that time pressure, travel costs, potentially high CO2 emissions, and significant planning efforts are completely eliminated," explains Madlen Maier, Rieber partner and head of marketing.

Rieber cordially invites all interested parties to visit the new digital space and experience the variety and quality of the Rieber product range conveniently from their desks. The doors are also open for a personal visit to the Reutlingen plant and a guided tour of the physical showroom.

More freshness in GN reusable containers - through innovative Fresh-Membrane

With our new watertight lid featuring an integrated Fresh-Membrane, fresh produce such as pre-cut salads and ready-to-eat products can be optimally stored, transported, and dispensed in the GN container reusable system. The advantages over plastic bags are clear: no packaging waste, significantly extended shelf life, freshness, and quality of the food preserved due to the special Fresh-Membrane allowing perfect exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen. Additionally, the hygienic stainless steel has antibacterial properties, minimizing germ formation. Furthermore, sensitive and water-containing fresh products in the robust GN system are protected from daylight and physical stress such as pressure and friction. Our new GN container GNauto offers the absolute revolution in terms of destacking and space saving. As the name GNauto suggests, this new container developed by Rieber can now also be destacked and handled automatically by robots. This also saves a lot of time in manual use.
