WISAG Catering Holding GmbH & Co. KG has been providing a smart food station for non-stop catering for Swisslog in Dortmund since April 2022. WISAG has now expanded its contract to cater for up to 500 employees at the site.

A specially developed catering concept featuring high-quality meals, snacks, and beverages, combined with digital solutions, enabled WISAG Catering to win the tender process. The Smart Food Station is already in place at Swisslog in Dortmund: An intelligent refrigerator, a food warming unit, and a modern coffee machine provide Swisslog employees with meals and takeaway food around the clock. In addition, the WISAG Catering kitchen team now also offers employees meals in the newly opened company restaurant, serves coffee and snacks in the bistro, and handles conference catering.

Coherent overall package: Service orientation and smart solutions convince

Thanks to digital solutions, the modern company restaurant is paperless. Fish, meat, vegetarian, or vegan – the varied menu is available on monitors and the WISAG Catering app. Tablets are also available for menu displays, additional information, or guest surveys.

With the WISAG Catering app, for example, guests can filter out dishes containing potential allergens. The app also offers a link to odacova's AI-powered solution, which provides diners with personalized nutritional recommendations for their meals. WISAG and the startup odacova have been collaborating for nine months to jointly promote balanced nutrition in the workplace.
