Minister Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut: "The topping-out ceremony is an important milestone for this significant project. It offers the outstanding opportunity to present itself internationally as the only region in a circle of more than 190 participating countries.

After seven months of construction, the time has come: the shell of the Baden-Württemberg pavilion has been completed and the roof truss erected. In the run-up to the International Participants Meeting of Expo Dubai (May 4 - 6) - at which, among other things, the plans for the "Virtual Expo" will be presented and which, in view of the falling incidence values in Dubai, will again be held in attendance form for the first time - the traditional topping-out ceremony took place yesterday (May 2) in strict compliance with hygiene regulations. In addition to the German Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ernst Peter Fischer, and representatives of the Expo Society in Dubai, the Baden-Württemberg pavilion director Ulrich Kromer von Baerle and representatives of the Baden-Württemberg economy also took part in the event. Present were partners of the Baden-Württemberg House such as Rieber GmbH & Co. KG, fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG, Lapp Holding AG, Interstuhl Büromöbel GmbH & Co. KG, IST Metz GmbH and Alfred KärcherSE & Co. KG.
