The Maier family, the owners, presided over the ceremonial opening, and Walter Seiz, as a member of the Rieber family, gave a retrospective review of the company's history.

The welcoming remarks emphasized the company's deep connection to the location, its pride in its shared history, and its clear focus on a sustainable future: "We are not just celebrating what has been – but above all, what remains." Innovation is not a foregone conclusion, but a task that involves the entire team – with courage, attitude, and a sense of responsibility.

Hands-on History

The showroom also offered a visual immersion into the company's history – with historical exhibits, old pictures, catalogs, and contemporary documents. To capture this milestone not only for current but also future generations, the Rieber anniversary magazine was presented and distributed, documenting both the past and future of the company.

Enjoyment with a Regional Character

In keeping with the philosophy, the culinary concept for the celebration was also regional, sustainable, and innovative: Culinary Manager Janko Hilliges and a renowned team of Michelin-starred chefs created a diverse menu with regional ingredients. All dishes were, of course, prepared and served using mobile Rieber solutions; a highlight here was the flying thermoport system, which served the appetizers in advance. Four gourmet stations offered a diverse selection of main courses, all freshly prepared and served a la minute using thermoport®, K|POT®, and acs front-loading cooking stations. The event concluded with a sweet selection of classic desserts and a giant orange anniversary cake in the shape of a 100.

A special highlight was the visit and speech by celebrity chef Johann Lafer, whose presence underscored the combination of enjoyment and quality, both in Rieber products and in the dishes they create.
