When speed, quality, and workflow must align in a commercial kitchen, the final station before service often determines success. With the new varithek® EST infrared holding module, Rieber expands its modular varithek® system with an efficient solution for professional heat holding in serving lines and buffet systems.

The built-in holding module keeps food in GN containers consistently ready to serve and helps kitchens maintain stable, predictable serving processes. Two infrared emitters per compartment ensure even, gentle heat distribution and reliably keep food at temperature. The system is suitable for GN containers with depths from 20 to 200 mm as well as for thermoplates®.

Efficient heat exactly when it is needed
A key feature of the system is its automatic infrared operation. The emitters are only activated when a GN container is inserted and switch off automatically as soon as no container is present. This ensures that energy is used only when it is actually required. Idle operation and unnecessary energy costs are avoided.

Seamless integration into modular kitchen concepts
The varithek® EST infrared is designed as a built-in system carrier for drop-in installation and can be integrated from above into countertop cut-outs. This makes the module ideal for professional serving lines and modular kitchen concepts. It can be used directly in the varithek® buffet or integrated into suitable installation niches.

Hygienic, robust, and practical
The housing made of high-quality chrome-nickel stainless steel ensures long-lasting stability and hygienic surfaces. Smooth CNS surfaces and well-designed interior housing areas make cleaning easier in daily operation. A robust front flap with self-locking mechanism, the system carrier insulated on all four sides, and intuitive front controls with power regulator and selector switch support safe use in everyday kitchen operations. In addition, each compartment is equipped with an integrated socket.
