Reusable GN innovations at the FHA HoReCa in Singapore

FHA HoReCa is the most important industry event in the Asian region, which takes place every two years in Singapore and brings the professionals together from the following five sectors: Bakery/Pastry, Foodservice Equipment, Hospitality Style, Hospitality Technology and Coffee & Tea Specialties. This year's fair took place on 22 - 25 October 24.

Together with local partners, Rieber presented its latest innovations:

• GNauto containers: The newly developed conical design saves up to 60% space and is ideal for automated processes.
   
• Lid with a fresh membrane: The new waterproof plug-in lid with integrated fresh membrane doubles the shelf life of fresh food such as cut salads and ready-cut products and ensures optimal storage and safe transport in the reusable GN system.
   
• Sustainable vacuuming and sous-vide cooking: With thermoplates® and special vacuum GN containers in combination with vaculid®, plastic-free vacuuming is possible.
   
• QR code: The four-sided lasered QR code with GS digital link enables precise tracking of the containers. At the same time, it works as a content interface that links information and connects partners in the food supply chain and in retail.
   
• Optimized ACS cooking station: Thanks to the revision of our ACS, a mobile cooking station with integrated extraction, we were able to improve the performance of the extraction, reduce the noise level and thus significantly simplify cleaning and maintenance. The energy-efficient and individually combinable varithek® cooking modules have been given a modern design and offer even more flexibility. The product range is complemented by the Rieber thermoplates® - cookware in GN format, made from the patented multi-layer material SWISS PLY, which ensures optimal temperature transfer and is ideal for front cooking.

During these eventful days, we welcomed end users, consultants and dealers, exchanged ideas with industry colleagues, made new contacts and strengthened existing valuable partnerships.
