Four areas of application, one shared commitment: reliable catering through integrated systems. Rieber exhibited at the Baden-Württemberg Joint Stand at MSPO in Kielce, which concluded on 11 September. Our focus on disaster relief, the military, care facilities and daycare centres highlighted the breadth of our catering solutions – from mobile operations under challenging conditions to everyday meal provision in care facilities and daycare centres.

Following the conclusion of MSPO on 11 September, we look back on our participation in the exhibition in Kielce. As part of the Baden-Württemberg Joint Stand, we focused on disaster relief, the military, care facilities and daycare centres. These four areas of application shared one central task: transporting food reliably, preparing it to meet specific needs and serving high-quality meals.

We were particularly pleased to welcome Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Skilled Crafts and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg, to our stand. Together with her delegation, she gained a first-hand impression of our catering solutions and their potential applications. The delegation’s visit focused on cooperation with Polish and other international partners, aiming to open up new opportunities for collaboration for companies from Baden-Württemberg. Mobility, durability and hygiene are essential for disaster relief and military operations. Our modular roll container systems allow catering and hygiene units to be configured to suit the location, duration and functional requirements of each operation. The range extends from induction cooking kettles and varithek® cooking stations to combinations of navioven and thermoport®, as well as refrigeration, serving and dishwashing units. Transporting our thermoport® by drone also opens up additional possibilities for delivering meals to personnel in areas where ground transport routes are difficult to navigate or inaccessible. The insulated thermoport® protects the food and helps maintain its temperature and quality – a particularly important consideration when supplying personnel near the front line. Our commitment is to deliver food safely to the point of deployment, even under challenging conditions.

Another key component is our mobile catering concept, catering kitchen: thermoport® food transport boxes, mounting frames and varithek® cooking modules form a flexibly expandable system. Combined with thermoplates® in Gastronorm format, food can be transported, reheated, kept warm or freshly prepared on site. This covers the entire catering chain – from delivery to serving at the point of deployment. Learn more about our solutions for disaster relief and the military.

In the care sector, the focus is on everyday catering in residential and nursing homes. Here, meals also mean quality of life, independence and shared experiences. Solutions such as the Regiostation and our food transport trolleys allow meals to be delivered to care units, where they can be reheated, kept hot or cold and served, depending on the equipment. For shared family-style dining, K|POT® combined with thermoplates® allows food to be served directly at the table in individual portions. This brings together organised processes and a personalised dining experience. Learn more about our care solutions.

Food quality, safe temperatures and ease of use also go hand in hand in daycare catering. Our solutions support different concepts – from deliveries from a central kitchen to on-site preparation and serving. thermoport® supports food transport, while navioven or Regiostation, for example, can be used for reheating. Child-friendly serving solutions such as ZUB Mini and Buffetto cater to the needs of young diners. Family-style dining with K|POT® complements these concepts by encouraging children to eat together and serve themselves. Learn more about our daycare catering solutions.

Our presence at the Baden-Württemberg Joint Stand highlighted the versatility of our system solutions: different applications require individually tailored processes, yet all share the need for reliable meal provision.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, Minister Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut and her delegation, and our partners at the joint stand. Following MSPO, we remain available to answer questions and work together to develop suitable catering concepts.
